A Journey of Remarkable Transformation
Before becoming one of Asia's most respected financial advisors, Dr. Chen Ming Li was a well-known actress in Taiwan. In the early 1980s, she made the difficult decision to leave the entertainment industry and begin a new career in insurance.
The transition was not easy, but it marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey. She became the first person in Southeast Asia to qualify for MDRT Top of the Table and later the first Chinese-speaking advisor invited to speak on the MDRT Main Platform, sharing her experience with more than 10,000 advisors from around the world.
More than 40 years later, she continues to work with many of the clients she first met at the beginning of her career. Over the years, those relationships have grown across generations, with parents introducing their children and, later, their grandchildren. That level of trust can only be earned through decades of consistent service, genuine care, and lasting relationships.

She thinks in decades, not quarters. Many of her clients have been with her for 20 or 30 years because the relationship keeps delivering.
Honest advice
Sometimes the right answer is to hold off or do less. Dr. Chen would rather tell you that than recommend something that does not serve you.
